Donna Bowman Bratton is a Texas children's book author with a passion for "cool" nonfiction, charming fiction, and dramatic historical fiction. She has written for national and international magazines. Donna's love of horses originated as a child on her family's Quarter Horse ranch, where she trained and prepared for years of competitve horse showings. Today Donna lives with her husband, two sons, and various pets not far form the family ranch.
