An Almost Perfect Murder is John Suter Linton's third true-crime novel, his earlier works being: The Stranger You Know - unravelling the mysteries surrounding the Kim Barry murder, and Bound by Blood that looked into the murders of former Lord Mayor Frank Arkell, shopkeeper David O'Hearn, and father of the accused Jack van Krevel.
