Frederick H. Hanselmann is director of the Underwater Archaeology and Exploration Program at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami. He is a fellow of the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University. He is coauthor of The Maritime Landscape of the Isthmus of Panama and a contributing author to Pieces of Eight: More Archaeology of Piracy.
