Kevin Staniec is an arts advocate, author, and publisher. He is the Executive Director of 1888, a regional catalyst for the preservation, presentation, and promotion of cultural heritage and literary arts. In 2002, Kevin co-founded ISM, a non-profit organization that published an internationally distributed culture magazine and produced art exhibitions and community programs. In 2013, Kevin co-founded Black Hill Press, a publishing collective dedicated to the novella. He is the author of several books including Begin and How to Be a Super Hero.
