Brandon Krieg grew up in Tualatin, Oregon, and attended Cornell University, The University of Washington, and Western Michigan University, from where he anticipates graduating with his PhD, with an emphasis in creative writing, in 2015. He is the author of a chapbook, Source to Mouth (New Michigan Press 2012), and his poems have appeared in Conjunctions, The Iowa Review, Antioch Review, and many other journals. He is a founding editor of The Winter Anthology and an associate editor of Poetry Northwest. He lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with his wife, Colleen O'Brien.
