Bryan D. Dietrich is the author of nine books of poems and co-editor of an anthology of superhero poetry. He has published poems in The New Yorker, The Nation, Poetry, Ploughshares, The Paris Review, Prairie Schooner, Harvard Review, Yale Review, and many other journals. Finalist for the Yale Younger Poets Prize, as well as the Walt Whitman, Pablo Neruda, and Bram Stoker Awards, he has won the The Paris Review Prize, the "Discovery"/ The Nation Award, a Writers at Work Fellowship, the Lord Ruthven Award, and has been nominated for both the Pushcart and the Pulitzer. Bryan is Professor of English at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.
