Dr. R. Saran presently working as Assistant Professor (Agricultural Entomology), Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research, Athimugam, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. He completed his bachelor's degree from AC & RI, TNAU, Coimbatore, T.N. and master's degree from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Srinagar, J & K (India). He completed his Ph.D. in Agriculture (Entomology) from Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, T.N. (India). His fields of specialisation are mass production of bio-control agents and hosts, DNA extraction from rice and residue estimation using HPLC and GC. He received several awards and recognitions. Dr. Rajan has membership of different national and international societies and attended many sympoisa/conferences. He has published 13 research papers/abstracts in different national and international journals. "
