David Buchbinder teaches literary and cultural studies, focusing especially on the cultural representations of men, masculinities and male sexualities. The author of Masculinities and Identities (1994) and Contemporary Literary Theory and the Reading of Poetry (1991), he is a graduate of Tel Aviv and Cornell, and an Associate Professor in the School of Communication and Cultural Studies at Curtin University of Technology.
