I didn't intend to write this book. Seriously, three cookbooks is enough for a person who cooks as little as I do. But, as I have mentioned over and over, I am a blessed traveler. When I completed the first volume of Cooking Along My Path, I couldn't help but think of all of the friends and recipes that I had yet to write about. There had to be another volume! I had no other choice! This book continues to prove my firm belief. No matter what corner of the planet, I have encountered the world at its best. Yes, part of this comes down to reaping what you sow. I like to spread kindness. Usually, people shovel sugar back in return. Even if they don't, I still prefer to live by the Golden Rule . Since writing these cookbooks, I've been able to reconnect with many of the people in the tetralogy (a new word I learned that means a series of four books). Some of the people have been my friends over many years. Others were brief, very brief, encounters. There were a few surprises, because several of them had no idea that they were even remembered. But, they were! All of them have been important in my life's journey.
