Edward Underhill is an author and a composer. He grew up in Wisconsin, studied music composition at the Oberlin Conservatory, and received a master's in film music composition from NYU. He now lives in California with his partner and a talkative black cat, where he writes music (frequently for cartoons) and novels (frequently for teens). His is also the author of the young adult novels Always the Almost and This Day Changes Everything.
