Dr. Russell Ford is a retired police officer having spent 20 years working patrol during his career. He was also a volunteer firefighter for nearly two years in a small town. While in law enforcement, Dr. Ford served ten years part time on a SWAT Team holding many positions within the team. He was also a field training officer and an instructor in other specialties. He is a college professor and has obtained his Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus in Forensic Psychology.
