JUNE COOPER PRICE (1933-2008) was a freelance writer who lived in Mesa, Arizona, when not on the road in an RV with her husband. She and her mother Etta Koch told the story of their family's move to Big Bend in Lizards on the Mantel, Burros at the Door: A Big Bend Memoir.
