McCormick Templeman holds a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Review of Books and the YA horror anthology, Slasher Girls and Monster Boys. She holds a PhD in English and Creative Writing from the University of Denver where she specialized in 19th Century horror. She currently teaches at Sweet Briar College in Virginia.
