Varney A. Kanneh has been a member of the American Public Health Association since 1975. He has worked as a professional chemist and Public Health Inspector for 40 years. He is a retired and registered Environmental Health Specialist (R.S.) in Maryland with a Master of Sciences degree from Indiana State University. Born in a small town in Sierra Leone, Varney is now a United States citizen.
