Jaume Rigau is an associate professor in Computer Science at the University of Girona. He received an M.Sc. in Computer Science (1993) and a Ph.D. (2006) at the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. His research is focused on the application of Information Theory to Computer Graphics and Image Processing. He has co-authored more than thirty papers in his areas of research and participated in European and Spanish research projects.
