Simon Sheridan was a linguist before becoming a software tester, so he knows his way around science and technology. He is also a writer, having three novels under his belt as well as a number of short stories and a semi-regular blog. Simon lives in Melbourne, Australia which has had one of the longest and toughest lockdowns of any city in the world during the corona event. As a result, he's had a lot of spare time on his hands to try and make sense of what was happening. This series of essays is the result of that effort.
