Ashen Venema worked as a photojournalist in Munich, until she moved to the UK, where motherhood inspired her to pursue a career in transpersonal psychotherapy. She has previously published articles, short stories and poetry. Shapers – follows her debut novel, Course of Mirrors (Matador 2017). Ashen now lives in Surrey.
