Fred Gardaphe is Distinguished Professor of English and Italian American Studies at Queens College/CUNY and the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute. He is Associate Editor of Fra Noi, editor of the Series in Italian American Culture at State University of New York, and co-founding-co-editor of Voices in Italian Americana.
