Jared Carnie lives in Sheffield. In 2015 he won a Northern Writers Award and in 2016 debuted with his novel Waves (Urbane Publications). He also won the Paper Swans Press poetry pamphlet competition for his poetry pamphlet, LYME and released a pamphlet of Sheffield-based poems called Crooked Walk (Wild Pressed Books). In 2020 he launched Dust on the Road, a John Fante podcast.
