Edward Koren has long been associated with "The New Yorker" magazine, where he has contributed over 1000 cartoons as well as many covers and illustrations. He has published six collections of cartoons and a number of illustrated books. Koren's cartoons have been featured in several publications including "The New York Times", "Newsweek", "The Nation" and "Time", and his work has been widely exhibited in shows across the United States as well as in France, England and the former Czechoslovakia. He lives with his family in Vermont and is a firefighter in the Brookfield, VT Volunteer Fire Department.
