Kevin Mullin moved from Dallas, Texas to Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana when he was 15. He heard so many stories the older folks told of their history and the events that shaped their lives. Although he only resided there for three years, those stories and the stunning landscape of rural Louisiana always stayed with him. The stories, legends, and tall tales of that area are slowly fading away to modern reality. It is the author's wish to capture some of those moments for people to enjoy before the magic of the swamp and the pine trees fades from human memory.
