Dr. Sharon Smith was born in Jamaica West Indies. Her relocation to the United States in September 1970 became the turning point in her life. She attended Grace Gospel Chapel in Harlem New York for 17 years, and became a member of Bethel Gospel Assembly also in Harlem in 1987. This is where a life of ministry truly began for Sharon, as she sought to follow the inscription written on the outside wall of that church, ENTER TO LEARN GO FORTH TO SERVE. Dr. Sharon is a professional Christian counselor, a professor and an ordained minister. She also facilitates Inspired Wholeness Ministries, a ministry for women, especially those who have been hurt along the way. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management, a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Mercy College, graduating Suma Cum Laude, and a Doctorate in Biblical Counseling/Biblical Studies from Master's International University of Divinity, graduating with honors. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. at Concordia University. Sharon is the author of Christian Divorce Wars, Weapons for Victory, The Shepherd's Call, 31 Days of Wholeness and Newbies in the Kingdom. She is also the editor of a Christian women's magazine called The Bridge. Dr. Sharon is the mother of two adult children; Shanae Nicholas and Jason Smith. She also has a son-in-law Nick, and a daughter-in-law Cabrea; and she is the grandmother of Alex, Leilani and Caleb Nicholas (her pride and joy).
