Tammy Brown grew up on a dairy farm in Mauston, Wisconsin, which has served as the inspiration for The Great Adventures of Alex and Amy and many beloved childrens stories. Her debut book, Herman the Mouse was so successful it is being rereleased with her forthcoming book in the series, Im Sure Glad Its Just Me, Herman gets a Baby Brother. She has also illustrated several picture books, including Elevator Jones by Dan Soderberg and The Snowman and the Swallow by Lucy Griffith. Tammy enjoys gardening, playing piano, inventing gourmet meals out of leftovers and sharing her talents with her two grandchildren.
