I am currently working as a Learning Support Assistant and have done so for the last 15 years in nursery and primary school. I am married to Mark with three grown up children; Kirsty, Hayley and Ashley, and three small grandchildren; Alfie, Harry and Evie. My Grandson Alfie George Steen was born in 2016 and his love of picture books at a young age inspired me to write this story about him. This was read in it's first stages to my reception class at school and it was a success so here we are. Having always enjoyed writing and reading stories, a dream of mine was then to get a book published, and now I've actually accomplished it. I just hope you and your little ones enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it.
