Jerry Pinto is a multi-award-winning and well-known poet, novelist, translator and journalist. His books include the novels Em and the Big Hoom, Murder in Mahim and The Education of Yuri and the anthologies The Greatest Show on Earth: Writings on Bollywood and Bombay, Meri Jaan: Writings on Mumbai. Among the awards he has received are the Sahitya Akademi Award and Yale University’s Windham-Campbell Prize.
