Dr. Anita Perez Ferguson is an award-winning YA fiction writer recognized by the San Francisco Writers Conference and the International Latino Book Awards. She publishes a weekly column, Diverse Voices-Bravo! featuring other modern Latinx authors and their stories on Substack. Her advocacy for under-represented communities earned her the 2014 Lacayo Lifetime Achievement Award from the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute.
