Maria Alejandra Caporale Madi, Msc and PhD in Economics, Msc in Philosopy. She has made her career as an economist in macroeconomics, business sustainability and socio-economic development. Author and editor of papers, articles and books, including Global Finance and Development, The Greening of Global Finance and The Greening of Latin America. She is currently Director of the Ordem dos Economistas do Brasil, Counselor of the Conselho Regional dos Economistas do Brasil-SP, Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education and member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Green Economics. Among other activities, she is also editor of the World Economics Association (WEA) Pedagogy BLOG and Chair of the WEA On Line Conferences. Besides, her recent activities include training courses for Brazilian trade unions and distance learning projects. She is currently Visiting Professor at UNIFESP and Avocational lecturer at Steinbeis University Berlin. Former Visiting Professor at University of Manitoba (Canada) and University of Kassel (Germany). Former Professor at Global Labor University. Retired Professor at UNICAMP (State University of Campinas).
