C.M. Waggoner is the author of the young-adult fantasy novel Unnatural Magic. She grew up in rural upstate New York, where she spent a lot of time reading fantasy novels in a swamp. After studying creative writing at SUNY Purchase, she lived in China for eight years. In her spare time, she volunteers, performs kitchen experiments, asks if she can pet your dog, and gardens badly. She currently lives with her husband in Albany, New York.
