A poet and fiction writer, ire'ne lara silva has been an active participant in the literary culture of Austin, Texas, for many years. Her first collection of poetry, furia, was published by Mouthfeel Press in 2010. She is the recipient of the Gloria Anzald�a Milagro Award and a 2010 Cantomundo Inaugural Fellowship. She is also the author of FLESH TO BONE (Aunt Lute Books, 2013).
