A native to the Sunshine Coast, Australia, James has spent most of his adult life living in the Americas. After first acquiring a bachelor's degree in Spanish literature in the USA, he spent years in South America travelling and working for adventure tourism companies. Now home in Australia, James uses these formative experiences to influence his writing.
