Norma Lloyd-Nesling trained as an English teacher, but a keen interest in under-achievement led to her gaining a Ph.D. for her research into this area. She is the author of a number of academic articles. Married with one daughter, Norma was born in Wales and, after living in England and Berlin, she has returned to her hometown.
