When Sanjida Kay was five years old she decided she wanted to be a novelist and a zoologist. She now has a PhD on chimpanzees and has had nine books published. She has written features and columns for national newspapers and magazines about science and the environment, directed science documentaries and presents wildlife programs for the BBC.
