Diana Newall completed her doctoral studies at the Courtald Institute of Art. She is author of Appreciating Art (2008) and co-author of Art History: The Basics. She was the Kostantinos Leventis Research Fellow at the Open University, and continues to work both there and as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Kent.
