Carolyn Ann Aish was born Carolyn Ann Gundesen in the small town of Waitara, Taranaki, New Zealand in 1948. She was raised in New Plymouth and now resides in Inglewood beneath the spectacular Taranaki Mountain along with her husband, Pastor Walter Aish.The first published books in the series, "The Frencolian Chronicles," TREASURES, CASTLES, and KINGDOMS, enjoy rave reviews, creating an on-going following for Carolyn's work.Carolyn earned a spot in the 1996 Guinness Book of Records (music section, page 144) for the longest hymn published. [2003 Guinness World Records Book also records this on page 191]. The previous record was made 800 years ago.Among the many series Carolyn has written is "The Nine Lives of Rastus," based on the lives of Max Corkill and his beloved cat, Rastus.
