Following over two decades in corporate America culminating with biotech giant, Amgen, in 2008 Sarah and her husband gave up the all-consuming, consuming all lifestyle to buy an organic farm in Puerto Rico and begin writing. In 2015 Sarah co-authored Being Biracial: Where Our Secret Worlds Collide, an anthology of essays exploring mixed-race identity that has attracted 50+ 5-star reviews on Amazon. Today she likes to refer to herself as a corporate America escapee turned eco-organic farmer, writer and activist.
