Marty has been doing just that in her writing for most of her life, consumed with the world of literature, whether teaching creative writing at Florida Southwestern State College or composing her own fiction. Her career has spanned almost two decades with eight published novels for Kensington Books, Thomas & Mercer, and now Severn House. Her first historical mystery, Claire's Last Secret, was published by Severn House in September, 2018, and was the first novel in a trilogy, marking a new literary direction in her writing.
