Karl Friedrich Keil | Bookhype

Carl Friedrich Keil (1807-1888) studied theology at the University of Dorpat and the University of Berlin with Hengstenberg and Neander. He returned to Dorpat to teach in 1839 and remained until 1859. Upon his retirement, Keil moved to Leipzig and worked with Franz Delitzsch on the influential Keil-Delitzsch 'Biblical Commentary'.
