Richard Curwin lives and plays in Apache Junction. He left Michigan with his wife and four children in 1978. The family lived in Mesa, Arizona before moving to Apache Junction in 1994, where they currently reside, in a place that looks suspiciously like Percy's "ranch," the main character of this his first book, Percy Goes West, Love and Adventures in Apache Junction. The author now has nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and a great grandson on the way. While writing this book, Curwin realized that we all have a bit of Percy, so it was written in that spirit.
