C.M. Chadwick was brought up in Sussex and was educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. After graduating, he worked in scientific research and education for many years. His interests include gardening, reading, classic cars and he keeps Abyssinian cats. He now lives in the Cotswolds and has two adult children. The Magdeburg Relic is the author’s debut novel.
