Suzanne Chazin is the award-winning author of The Fourth Angel, Flashover, and Fireplay. She has written for People, Readers' Digest, New York Times, Family Circle, Ladies' Home Journal, and Money. She has taught writing at New York University, the New School, Sarah Lawrence College, and the Smithsonian. Her work on an outreach project for undocumented immigrants inspired her to tell their stories in novel form in Land of Careful Shadows.
