Robert Valletta grew up in the greater Lehigh Valley of eastern Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he embarked upon a two-year backpacking journey across Europe, and later lived along the Mediterranean coastline in Greece. He has earned a B.A. in Business Management and an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Moravian College. Valletta is the author of Crossfire and When School Let Out. He was selected as a semi-finalist for the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts in the field of Creative Writing, and twice was awarded the annual Josephine P.
