Larry Gibbs, Jr. grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. As kids, he and his brother would create stories and characters using action figures. He carried that imaginative spark with him through middle and high school, culminating with his graduation from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he majored in Animation. Spurred on by his own thoughts and feelings, and inspired by the movies and anime he watched growing up, Gibbs strives to create emotional stories people can relate to and see themselves in. He lives in McDonough, Georgia, where he continues to write, draw, and watch anime in his spare time.
