Frances Lloyd has always been a writer, mainly in the world of government communications. She has also worked as a freelance journalist and photographer but her ambition was always to write crime novels. She now lives in the Scottish Highlands, where she writes murder mysteries. Murder in Disguise is the fifth in the series. She is author of several other works of crime fiction, including The House on Gallows Green, also published by Robert Hale.
