Susan Winget is inspired by the images, colors, and flavor of her beloved North Carolina countryside. She and her husband, Al, raised their three children on the family farm, with grandparents nearby.
Susan Winget has created art for Colonial Williamsburg and the National Trust as well as calendars, greeting cards, and an array of home products. She is the author and illustrator of two picture books about an endearing young rabbit--Tucker's Four-Carrot School Day, praised for its "cozy illustrations" by Publishers Weekly, and Tucker's Apple-Dandy Day, called "a delight" by ALA Booklist.
