Trained as a physician, Scott Abrams worked for 12 years in the hospital emergency room in Willmar, Minnesota, before leaving that position due to his addiction. He has been in recovery since 2014 and currently works as a family practice physician in a clinic setting. In the fall of 2018, he also assumed the role of medical director for Project Turnabout, a 120-bed chemical dependency treatment center in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Scott and his wife Barb, live in Willmar with their two children, Jake and Maggie.
