Words are powerful. They can stick with you for a day, a month, a lifetime. Actions are powerful, and can be monumental. Author Holly B Barker used two meaningful words in her story to convey gratefulness. "Thank you." To all those who have put in monumental actions, so we all could have our freedoms.Holly lives in Titusville, Pennsylvania, with her husband of 36 years. For 80 + years the Barker family has been placing flags for Memorial day. With, husband, son (both Veterans), daughter, and four grandchildren and extended family, they all continue the tradition to honor those that fought for our country, for all of us.With Holly's love of Christmas and the spirt of giving, she wrote "The Christmas Trunk." She wanted to give two powerful words, to so many monumental soldiers and veterans.
