Jan Weeks is a freelance writer who currently calls California home. She has owned a fly-fishing shop and built custom rods, taught school, waited tables, worked in surgery, and managed a hotel, all of which brought her great satisfaction and story plots. In her spare time she paints, reads, quilts, and travels.
