A former journalist across magazines including Grazia and Marie Claire and several of the UK’s national newspapers, Caroline is now a Sunday Times bestselling author. Her work has been translated into multiple languages and sold around the world.
Her novels, often described as ‘domestic noir’, are also very much books about the female experience, tackling themes such as infertility, domestic violence, motherhood, sexual assault and mental health.
When not writing, she is usually reading, going to book club, or interviewing fellow authors at her local bookshops. Some people might say she needs more varied hobbies.
Caroline lives on the Wirral and loves going for long walks on the beach with her family (see, she does do something else).
