Denise Bergman is the author of THE TELLING (Cervena Barva Press, 2014), and SEEING ANNIE SULLIVAN (Cedar Hill Books, 2005), poems based on the early life of Helen Keller's teacher. She conceived and edited CITY RIVER OF VOICES (West End Press, 1992) an anthology of urban poetry. Her poems have been widely published, and an excerpt of her poetry about a neighborhood slaughterhouse is installed as public art.
