Mary Angelon Young has 35 years of teaching experience, including 15 years in a small private school for children ages 5-12, and as an instructor at Prescott College, Arizona. She is the author of numerous books for adults and children, including We Like to Live Green and We Like to Nurse Too. She wrote this book with her granddaughter, Ashe Parker, then age 12.
